The City Clinic Ophthalmology Exam Room has got modern equipment for:
- Examination of visual acuity and color vision
- Computed refraction diagnostics
- Computed contactless measuring of intraocular pressure
- Computed perimetry
The space one can see at a fixed gaze is called a visual field.
Perimetry is important and a necessary examination in many diseases of the optic nerve and the brain, for example: glaucoma, stroke, tumors, etc. The most accurate method for examining the visual field is computed perimetry – a patient undergoes special threshold tests thus providing information about the photo-sensitivity in any part of the retina. Computed perimetry is one of the most important tests necessary for the detection and tracking of glaucoma patients.
