The laboratory has been equipped with modern analytical equipment for performing the following tests:
- Identification of the causes of infections and antibiotic sensitivity in all clinical specimens and environment
- Ability for diagnosing non-specific causes of infections
- Ability for diagnosing pathogens directly in clinical specimens
- Rapid tests for proving or rejecting certain infectious diseases (scarlet fever, infectious mononucleosis) and pathogens (Helicobacter pylori, Campylobacter, mycoplasma, gonorrhea, chlamydia, Trichomonas, Clostridium difficile, rotavirus / adenovirus) in various clinical specimens
- Anti-streptolysin test and rheumatoid factor test
